Dr.
Bernard Furshpan has been
in practice since 1980 and is a member of both local, state
and national associations. Dr. Furshpan maintains a busy practice
that provides his patients with the latest and most effective
natural methods of pain relief, spinal corrections and healthcare.
From 1982 to 1994, he hosted a popular cable show, “To Your
Health.” With a background in marketing, Dr. Furshpan
developed a series of educational posters and X-rays presently
used by most chiropractors around the world. He has
developed a proficiency in treating injured patients, headaches,
disc problems and scoliosis. Since 1996, Dr. Furshpan
has collaborated with MRI and CT-Scan findings and improved
on existing chiropractic techniques to create a new method
of managing disk bulging and herniation. The
Furshpan Maneuver™ (read more) is performed in the
standing or sitting positions and is quick, comfortable and
safe. The clinical trials are proving the Furshpan Maneuver™
to be the technique of choice in managing disk problems. He
is available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 9am- 7pm,
and Saturdays 9am-1pm.

December 22, 2005, the Long Island Press published a "Best
of Long Island" poll taken with its readers, covering
all aspects of business, healthcare and much more. Dr. Furshpan
was voted "Best Chiropractor" of LI as voted by
Long Islanders.
Since
1981, Dr. Furshpan has treated over 20,000 patients and counsels
other chiropractors with his experience. Dr. Furshpan hosted
"To Your Health" on cable TV from 1982 through 1994
and has produced a comprehensive line of patient educational
